I haven't tried it on BlueDragon 7 Beta 2 yet since I'm having trouble getting it installed on Vista, but MachBlog runs fine on Vista with ColdFusion 7.0.2 and SQL Server 2005 Express. SQL Server 2005 Express actually runs fine on Vista (with a bit of permissions and firewall adjustments) so either the stuff I read about incompatibility with SQL Server and Vista was referring to the non-express version, or they fixed it.



I also got Apache 2.2.3 set up and have written an article about CF development using Apache on Windows, and I believe that will appear in a future edition of the ColdFusion Developer's Journal once I get things tidied up. The article will apply to both XP and Vista, with Vista just being a bit more of a pain because of all the annoying "are you really really really really really really sure you want to do this?" stuff and other odd inconsistencies with permissions.



Time for the MachBlog public beta at this point, so I'll try to get that out in the next day or two.
